Whew! We made it to Texas and back without a scratch. Actually, I take that back. I got injured in the D.C. airport by a “gentleman” who ran over my pinky toe with his luggage. The whole trip was fun. We completely surprised my husband’s grandmother. We got to see his uncles, cousins, and his parents who also drove from NC to TX to be there. Here is a photo journey of our trip.
In a few of the pictures you probably noticed I was nursing. This trip I had to nurse anywhere, everywhere. The airport, airplane, a cave, mall, restaurants, and more places I don’t remember. And I wanted to add that my ergo carrier was the best thing in the world. I used it in the airport instead of a stroller. That was the best decision I ever made. I also used it for walking around my grandmother’s neighborhood. I cannot recommend it enough.
Looks like a wonderful time! Fletcher is just adorable and I love your new cut!
I’m so glad you had a great time! I love all the pictures.
Cute haircut! Good for you that you were able to BF in so many places. Even after 3 years I was a total spaz and had to be sitting down.
you didnt even mention you got a haircut!!! it looks cute! great pics!
I just discovered your website. It’s great! I have a 9 and 7 year old….man nursing feels like yesterday though. I loved it but it was EXCRUCIATING at first and when I say “at first” I mean for 8 to 10 weeks straight. I don’t know how i survived. I actually became a self taught green builder with my 4 month old attached to the breast! My last home was featured on the Discovery channel for all of its greenness. It has been fun to share these accomplishments with my kids. Check out my blog sometime at http://www.rebekahgreen.com 🙂
