When my sons took a 3.5 hour nap I managed to edit a video compiling the photos from my homebirth. There are no graphic images, in case you wondering.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful birth!
So beautiful! Congrats again!
I love the look of utter euphoria on your face when you first held him. You were clearly on a natural birth high! 😀 I am envious that homebirth midwives are legal in your state though!
I am SO glad that I live in NY! I get to attempt this with our next one {hopefully within the next year!}. Your video was amazing…and truly inspiring. I was in tears when I saw Fletcher with Everett…I hope my little guy will love being a big brother. Thanks for sharing your homebirth with us!
Awwww, that was simply amazing. Looks like everything went smoothly. Congrats and thanks for sharing your story.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Hmm. Maybe I should invite a photographer to my birth too. 🙂 I don’t think I’d look so good in a pregnant bikini though!
BTW, where did you get your birth pool? Did you like it?
I think it was mywaterbirth.com, or yourwaterbirth.com…. something like that! Only 40$ and perfectly adequate and comfy. Plus it doesn’t take too long to fill, unlike some of the larger tubs. Potential drawback would be hubby won’t really fit in tub too, or could but it would be tight. I knew mine wouldn’t be in tub with me, and didn’t want him to, so that wasn’t an issue. I just wish it didn’t have fish all over it…… lol. Hence “fishy pool”
thanks so much for sharing – beautiful!
This is absolutely beautiful & amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Such a beautiful birth story! Thank you for sharing with us and congratulations!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! It makes me smile to watch this. And CONGRATS!!!
Well I can see I am a little bit late but I wanted to make sure to swing by and say congratulations. I was just reading your guest post over at Judy’s blog and saw that you had had your baby. What wonderful photos and so exciting for Fletcher. Happy one month birthday!
How beautiful! Your baby is truly lucky to have been welcomed into the world so calm and comfy. Thank you for a little look into homebirth.
I keep catching glimpses of other mom’s home birth experience. I was pretty set against it, but the more I see, the more I am inclined to give it a second thought. I had long, hard labor with my first, but perhaps some of that was because I was restricted to my hospital room with no food and only ice chips for 24 hours. Thanks for posting this!
It is different for everyone but I know my second labor was a completely
different (and better) experience. I don’t know that it was because I was
at home, or because it was my second, or both!
